I created a dynamic 2D animation to illustrate electricity production using solar and wind energy on Grímsey, a remote island off the coast of Iceland. This animation highlights the harmony between cutting-edge renewable energy technologies and the island's natural beauty, showcasing how sustainable energy solutions can power isolated communities. The animation was created in Adobe After Effects, utilizing motion graphics to visually represent the transition from sunlight and wind into electricity. To ensure smooth integration on the web I exported the animation using Lottie Files. This approach maintains high-quality visuals while optimizing performance for fast loading and interactivity on the website. This project merges storytelling with technical precision, enhancing the website experience and educating visitors about Grímsey’s renewable energy initiatives.
