For Steini, a short film recreation of Rocky, I took on multiple roles, including co-writing the script, scouting locations, acting, and overseeing creative and art direction. As the sole editor, I focused on crafting a compelling narrative that paid homage to the original while adding unique elements that distinguished Steini. My approach was to stay true to the spirit of Rocky while adding unique elements that gave Steini its own identity. From finding the perfect filming spots to shaping the film’s pacing and visual style through editing, this project allowed me to showcase my versatility in filmmaking and storytelling. During the editing process, I structured the pacing to build tension and excitement, aligning the visuals with the film's emotional beats. I utilized dynamic cuts and seamless transitions to create a fluid viewing experience, enhancing the dramatic moments and showcasing the journey of the characters. Additionally, I incorporated sound design and music to amplify the film's energy, further immersing the audience in the story. This project not only highlighted my technical editing skills but also my ability to integrate various creative aspects into a cohesive final product.
